AI in plain English
What a chatbot can help with, what it cannot promise and why you still need to check.
The signature Learn AI Fast talk
A practical introduction to using AI to turn an overwhelming task into a manageable first step. For adult beginners, community groups and curious minds.
Why this talk exists
As a child, I would become overwhelmed by projects and struggle to make progress. I often think about how AI could have helped me break those projects down.
This talk starts with that experience. I'll demonstrate how to get thoughts out, ask useful questions and turn a broad idea into a first action — with you making the decisions.
You don't need to master AI before it can be useful. We'll start with one everyday example.
An illustrative example
“I want to organise a community event. I'm unsure about the venue, date and who to invite.”
Ask AI to clarify the goal, ask three questions and suggest a manageable starting point.
Draft a venue enquiry. Check the details and tone yourself before deciding what to do next.

Adult community groups, libraries, volunteer teams and people who are curious about AI but unsure where to start.
For adult ADHD and autism groups, we'll discuss whether the session fits your members and agree the pace and access needs together. The talk draws on personal experience of overwhelm; it is not clinical advice.
No device or AI account is needed to watch the demonstration. Questions are welcome, and participation is optional.
Work through your own task in a paid one-to-one lesson. The beginner session is 60 minutes for £79.99, with simple notes to keep.
Send a few details about your audience. I'll reply to discuss the outline and a possible date.
